The 2nd International Conference (Hybrid Mode) on “Recent Advances in Mathematics” has been started here at University of Education, Lahore organized by Department of Mathematics. The conference will continue from December 4 to 5, in which 13 hundred national and international researchers from 15 countries are participating both physically and online. 100 research papers will be presented during the conference. In this regard, the opening ceremony was held in the main campus township of UE, which was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Alam Saeed while the chief guest was Vice Chancellor of Government College, University, Lahore, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adnan. On this occasion, the Conference Chair Professor Dr. Muhammad Azam welcomed the participants and explained the aims and objectives of the conference. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Alam Saeed said that the aim of this conference is to provide an intellectual platform to contemporary researchers and scholars to share their research work with diverse national and international researchers/scholars.
The conference will provide an op-portunity for researchers to discuss the current socio-industrial ground realities as well as the latest developments and research perspectives in the field of mathematics.
Those Mathematicians from all over the world are participating in the conference, who are considered pioneers in this field. He said that through such international conferences we can promote the culture of research in our universities.
The subject of mathematics is very important in the development of science and technology, because science and technology are not possible without “hundred percent accuracy” and this accuracy is possible only through mathematics. Chief Guest Vice Chancellor Government College, University, Lahore, Professor Dr. Ahmad Adnan said in his address congratulated the UE and for organizing such a big conference on the most important subject.
