The way the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed is treating women and paying homage to them at Gomal University can hardly be found in any other university in the province. Director Human Rights Prof. Dr. Tabassum Naseer made these remarks while talking to a function organized at Gomal University on the occasion of International Women’s Day, says a press release. A large number of female heads, teachers and students from different departments.
Addressing the function, Prof. Dr. Tabassum Naseer said that there is no other religion in the world which has given such rights and respect to women in the form of mother, sister, daughter and wife. She further said that all the female teachers at Gomal University are performing their services in a very calm environment and the female students are also getting acquainted with education without any fear or insecurities.
Director Institute of Chemical Sciences Madam Dr. Robina Naz recited poems while Naat and Recitation were uttered by Department of Biological Sciences’s Urooj Khan, Urdu Speech Department of Biological Sciences Aafifa Jan, English Speech Department of English Sehar Andalib and the story of the brave woman was presented by Maanma Khalq of the English Department on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
