KARACHI – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi says Pakistan Coast Guards is an essential force and it will be upgraded on modern standards to increase its functionality and efficiency.
This he said while chairing an important meeting of the Pakistan Coast Guards at its headquarters in Karachi on Wednesday (today).
Interior Minister said coastal guards have most important and proactive role in controlling smuggling.
Mohsin Naqvi also lauded coastal guards’ services regarding controlling illegal trade and smuggling despite limited resources.
Earlier, he extended good wishes to the labourers in connection with the World Labor Day.
He said the hard work and dedication of the labourers is the main reason behind the development and progress. He stated that the promises to uplift the workers are made this day.
“This day remind us to make sure efforts for the welfare and support of the labourers,” he added.
