District Election Commissioner Hafizabad Tanveer Ahmad Khan has said that Interim Electoral Roll have been displayed at 140 display centres in the district for inspection of people and citizens can get correct enter and shift their votes till 19 June this year.
He said that form 15, 16, 17 are available at display centres and voters after filling forms people can submit to the incharge of the same centre situated at concerned locality.
He said that Election Commission had constituted Revising Authorities at Tehsil level while Principal government college Hafizabad Muhammad Shahbaz Bhatti had been appointed revising authority for Tehsil Hafizabad whereas Principal government college Pindi Bhattian Muhammad Anayat Bhatti nominated Revising Authority for Tehsil Pindi Bhattian.
He said that NGOs were playing vital role for creating awareness about importance of CNIC, entry and correction of votes among people particularly woman. He further said that people could submit their complaints at office of the District Election Commissioner Hafizabad in case of any difficulty.
