KARACHI—The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) recently concluded its 4th Corporate Cricket Championship 2024 in Karachi.
This action-packed tournament brought together top corporate teams to raise crucial funds to support its Emergency and OPD Services.
The event once again demonstrated the power of corporate collaboration in supporting life-saving healthcare for those in need.
This year’s participating teams included Adamjee Textile, Indus Hospital, Media XI, Nelson Paints, APL Logistics, Shan Foods, SPURSOL, and TATA Pakistan. They competed in an exciting 6-over tape-ball format. The tournament played on a knockout basis, featured thrilling matches as each team battled for the coveted trophy.
The championship’s primary focus was to generate funds for IHHN’s Emergency and OPD Services, which provide timely and free-of-cost medical care to thousands of critically ill and injured patients each year. At the IHHN Korangi Campus in Karachi, the 35-bed emergency department treats more than 100,000 patients annually, serving a population of over 2.5 million.
The Outpatient Department (OPD) also plays a vital role in delivering essential care to even more patients. These funds are essential for maintaining and improving both the emergency and outpatient services, ensuring more lives are saved and healthcare remains accessible.
This year’s tournament was supported by Geo Super as the Exclusive Media Partner, FM 91 as the Exclusive Radio Partner, and Pakistan Observer as the Digital Media Partner, all of whom played a key role in amplifying the tournament’s impact and promoting IHHN’s mission.
Corporate leaders, sponsors, and media partners attended the event, contributing to its success and reinforcing the importance of corporate social responsibility in the healthcare sector. The funds raised from this championship will directly benefit IHHN’s Emergency and OPD Services, furthering the goal of providing free, quality healthcare to all.
