The members of Sikh community staged a protest demonstration outside the Lahore Press Club in Lahore to register their anger against the murder of their leader, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, in Canada by the agents of Indian government.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protesters holding placards and banners bearing their demands were chanting anti-India slogans.
Former Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights, Mahinder Pal Singh, talking to the media, urged the global community to take a firm stance like Prime Minister of Canada on Indian state sponsored terrorism. He said India has always been behind target killing of Sikhs across the world.
The Sikh leader said the whole Sikh community strongly condemns the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. He demanded of the Canadian government to punish criminals according to law.
Former MPA Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora talking to the media also strongly condemned the killing of Hardeep Singh, highlighting the tragic loss faced by the Sikh community.
Meanwhile, the members of the Sikh community held a protest demonstration in Peshawar also against the killing of Hardeep Singh by Indian agency RAW in Canada.
The protestors raised slogans against the NarendraModi-led Indian government for its anti-minorities policies.
They demanded that killers of Hardeep Singh should be arrested soon.
The Sikh community asked the Modi government to stop the killing of Muslims and Sikhs.
