14th August Independence Day of Pakistan holds a prominent historical position not only in Pakistan but also in the Islamic world. Celebrations for the Independence Day are found all across the nation both on government and public levels.
The Independence Day at Lahore Arts Council was celebrated with great zeal and zest. Independence Day celebration at Lahore Arts Council started with the flag ceremony and prayers for the prosperity of the country. The ceremony was attended by Chairperson Lahore Arts Council Ms. Moneeza Hashmi, Executive Director Ather Ali Khan, staff members and other visitors. A large number of people dressed in green and white visited Alhamra Arts Council and enjoyed the programs organized by the Alhamra Arts Council under the supervision of E.D LAC Ather Ali Khan.
For the Independence Day celebations LAC was prepared numerous programs. A great number of people from all walks of life participated in the celebration and made it memorable.
On the occasion Executive Director of Lahore Arts Council Ather Ali Khan signified the importance of the Independence Day and said that we all should actively participate in the making the nation even greater.
