Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul Wazir on Thursday said that Imran Khan is the first Prime Minister in the 70-year history of Pakistan who has taken the nation into confidence by stating his performance.

“The PM exposed ugly face and the way in which our government raised its voice against atrocities and barbarism in Kashmir has never happened before because in the past governments have been kneeling down to superpowers. Pakistan is and will support peace in Afghanistan but not war.”

Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul Wazir was addressing the inauguration Kailash Park at Kamalpur Interchange on Faisalabad-Sargodha Road and tree plantation under Prime Minister’s 10 Billion Tree Project here on Thursday.

Punjab Culture Minister Khayal Ahmed Kastro, a large number of PTI leaders and officers of different departments were also present on the occasion.

Zartaj Gul was of the view that Ehsas program is an example of its own, as well as ten billion tree plantation to eliminate environmental pollution.

One billion trees have been planted in the country and 23 national parks have been created in the country and a large number of new plants are being planted on a daily basis.

However, it is the duty of every Pakistani to plant more and more trees so that everyone has a pleasant environment and a better atmosphere.

The state minister said that all provincial ministers are working very hard that’s why Punjab under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar is making progress more than other provinces.

She said that the district administration has removed encroachments from the place of the park and retrieved the land from land grabbers, adding that now Kailash group has started a tree plantation campaign on the land by constructing a park here.

She said that the role of media is of great significance as a strong pillar of the state, adding that the government believes in freedom of the media and will never take any step that would affect their freedom of expression.

She pointed out that due to honour of Muharram, the PTI had postponed the ceremony to unveil three-year performance of the government, adding that today the Prime Minister Imran Khan shed light on the three-year performance of his government during a function.

Speaking on the occasion, Khayal Kastro said it is for first that the entire nation is backing the government due to its popular policies, adding that the government is grateful to the masses, promising the PTI never disappoint them. He informed that Pakistan has been blessed numerous resources of the Allah SWT.

“Take the example of names of Punjabi months in Pakistan show that each month has a different season because in Pakistan where it is hot on one side and cold on the other side which is a gift of Allah.”

He said that Pakistan is most at risk of climate change in the world which is why the Prime Minister has started construction of 10 big dams and we also have 82% growth rate of plants.

So far in three years, no allegation of corruption has been levelled against any Chief Minister or Governor, including our Prime Minister.

He said that next two years would be a year of complete relief for the people for which the government is utilising all its resources.
