IG chairs police station reforms meeting

Sindh Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Nabi Memon spearheaded a crucial meeting at the Central Police Office in Karachi, focusing on the revamping of police stations in the city. The session, attended by key officials including Additional IGs, DIGs, heads of various departments, and administrative personnel, delved into comprehensive discussions regarding enhancing the efficiency and public-friendliness of police stations.

During the gathering, IG Sindh emphasized the imperative need for positive changes within the police force and fostering a community-oriented environment conducive to public trust. He underscored the deployment of qualified and dedicated officers for long-term assignments at police stations, ensuring stability and adherence to established protocols.

Moreover, suggestions were put forward for the installation of CCTV cameras within station premises and surrounding areas, aiming to bolster security measures and provide valuable insights for further improvements. IG Sindh further directed the preparation of detailed lists encompassing available and required vehicles for police mobility, along with comprehensive recommendations for manpower augmentation.
