How students can register for motorcycle scheme in Punjab?

LAHORE – The Punjab government has formally launched the registration process for the provision of 20,000 motorcycles on interest-free installments under Chief Minister’s Youth Initiative.

The government has asked the students to register in the scheme as soon as possible as an online portal has been launched for the this purpose.

Before you learn about the registration process, you must go through the important details regarding the scheme.

What is the Interest Free Bike Scheme?

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the education friendly initiative, for which the government has collaborated with the Bank of Punjab.

Under the scheme 19,000 Petrol motorcycles and 1,000 electric bikes will be distributed among students, who will be selected through balloting. The scheme has a dedicated quota for female students

Out of 19,000 petrol bikes, 11,676 are for male students and 7,324 are for female students.

Out of 1,000 Electric bikes, 700 have been allocated for male students and 300 for female students.

Which Students are Eligible for Motorcycle Scheme?

In Phase 1, regular students of a Degree College / University, duly recognized by HEC can register for the interest free motorcycle scheme.

Initially, the scheme will be launched in Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi and Lahore.

Eligibility Criteria for Interest Free Bike Scheme?

It is an excellent opportunity for over 800,000 students across the province to obtain their own transport. The applicant

Must be over 18 years of age.

Must be a regular student of a Degree College / University, duly recognized by HEC.

Must hold a valid motorcycle Learner’s Permit / Driving Licence.

In case of receipt of applications in excess of allocated quotas, e-balloting shall be conducted.

Where to Register for Interest Free Bike Scheme?

Eligible students are required to click this link (https://bikes.punjab.gov.pk/register) to start the registration process.

They need to enter their full name, email address, CNIC and Gender details at the registration page and later they will create their password to start the application process.

How to Apply Online for Motorcycle Scheme?
