Hot, dry weather likely to persist in most parts

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Thursday forecast hot and dry weather is likely to prevail in most plain areas of the country during next 24 hours.

However, rain-wind-thunderstorm is expected in Islamabad, upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

A westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and may persist in upper parts till tomorrow, MET office reported. Maximum temperature’s recorded.—APP
