Hot, dry weather likely in most parts of country

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast hot and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in northeastern Punjab, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas during this time span.

According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country The highest maximum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Dadu 44 C, Mohenjo-daro, Sibbi and Dalbandin 42 C.

the local Met Office has forecast a dry to partly cloudy weather for the city for next 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature 38 centigrade and the lowest minimum 29 centigrade were recorded during last 24 hours.

The dry to partly cloudy weather has also been forecast for rest of the region. The local Met office Sunday forecast hot & humid weather for the city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.—APP
