LAHORE – Registration for the groundbreaking Honhaar scholarship program kickstarted as Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz led government earmarked funds worth Rs130 billion to support talented students in Punjab.
In first phase, scholarships will be awarded to students in 68 disciplines across 50 public sector universities in the region. Each year, 30,000 deserving students will benefit from full coverage of their tuition fees, ensuring access to higher education for those with limited resources.
Honhaar Scholarship Eligibility
Eligibility for the scholarship will be determined based on SSC and HSSC academic performance, with 30% of Matriculation marks and 70% of Intermediate will make merit.
Students under 22, with an annual income of less than Rs300,000 are encouraged to apply. Additionally, students enrolled in MBBS and BDS programs are also eligible.
