LAHORE – Residents of district Kasur will get a local holiday on August 31, 2024 Saturday, Deputy Commissioner of Kasur, Captain (r) Aurangzeb Haider Khan announced.
Kasur district will observe the Urs celebration of philosopher, and Sufi poet from August 30. The Urs will continue for three days.
DC Kasur also shared official notification confirming the holiday on coming Saturday.
Urs of Hazrat Bulleh Shah draws devotees and admirers from across the country to commemorate the life and teachings of saint. The celebration features a variety of cultural and religious activities, such as poetry recitations, musical performances, and spiritual gatherings.
Meanwhile, special arrangements are underway to facilitate devotees on the occasion amid the recent law and order situation.
