The hilltops wore Snow’s Carpet of the first winter season last Sunday night. The Nathiagali as well as Meera Jani, Thandiani & Changla Gali was fully covered with snowfall, the layer of which was measured unto 10 inches, meanwhile, the lower part of hill received rainfall overnight as well as the icy clouds were deepened to indicate more rain and snowfall on the mountainous series of the Abbottabad district. But on Monday, the entire sky remained fully covered with clouds but no rain or snowfall was reported from any corner of the Hazara Region.
In addition, reports received from Northern areas and Kaghan the valley was completely full of snow, and a cold wave hit the remaining districts of Hazara to compel suburbs staying at their respective homes as icy winds seen surging at every nook and corner of the divisional headquarter and nearby district, Mansehra, Battagram & Torghar districts of Hazara, however, the Haripur was reported to somewhat different.
The Cheer trees, at the forest of Thandiani, Nathiagali including Meera Jani were expressing their position to touch breached to its growing base because of unbearable of the snow weight. Moreover, the main Silk the route was observed facing thin traffic because of the severity of chilly weather. All the trade centers of the city remained opened while fruit shops were full of fruit but the customers were observed lacking because of icy winds together with severe chilly weather. No causalities.
