Heirs of train accident deceased get cheques

Distribution of cheque among the heirs of deceased and injured of 17 UP Millat Express and 36 DN Sir Syed Express accident on 7th June 2021 between Dharki and Raiti has been started.

According to the details, cheque for the families of the deceased passengers and injured in the accident of 17UP Millat Express and 36DN Sir Syed Express between Dharki and Reti are being prepared.

Postal Life Insurance initially issued six cheques and handed them over to the Chief Commercial Manager, Pakistan Railways.

The families of the deceased Tahira Khaton, Zubia Qureshi, Shahzad Ahmad, Zafar Iqbal, Hazooran Tanveer, will be given checks of Rs.1.5 million each and the injured passenger Azra Bibi will be given checks of Rs. 50,000 respectively. Moreover, 21 more cases have been confirmed by the Chief Medical Officer and forwarded to Postal Life Insurance for preparation of cheques.

It is to be noted that as the details are being collected by Pakistan Railways, they are being sent to Postal Life Insurance so that the remaining checks can also be prepared.
