Health sector to get priority in forthcoming budget: Nasir Hussain

Sindh Minister for Information, Local Government, Housing &Town Planning, Religious Affairs, Forest and Wildlife Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that Health sector will be the major focus of the provincial government in the forthcoming budget.
He said that in view of the situation emerged after the outbreak of the coronavirus, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had also asked the Sindh Chief Minister to give priority to the Health sector in the forthcoming budget. In a statement issued here on Monday, Nasir Shah said that although the Sindh government had done a lot of work in the Health sector in the past, but in the aftermath of the spread of the Corona virus, there was a need to focus more on the Health sector. He said that there were already a lot of achievements of Sindh government regarding the improvement Health sector which included the up gradation of all the basic Health Units, District Health Units, as well as the extension of National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in other districts, along with the use of cyber knife technology to treat cancer patients.
The provincial Information Minister said that besides this, the Sindh government was also constantly supporting the Sindh Institute of Urology.
