Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid paid a detailed visit to the Mother and Child Block at Kangaram Hospital. On this occasion, Special Secretary of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department Syed Wajid Ali Shah, Vice Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Medical University Professor Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, Project Director Sheikh Ijaz, Chief Engineer, Dr. Hussain Jafri, Dr. Yasmin Ehsan, Dr. Imran Waheed, Dr. Shamsa and C&W officers participated. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid visited the second, fifth and sixth floors on this occasion and reviewed the ongoing progress. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that Mother and Child Block in Gangaram Hospital is a very beautiful masterpiece.
The remaining departments of Mother and Child Block will also be completed soon. The Mother and Child Block at Gangaram Hospital is being constructed at a cost of Rs.9 billion and 47 Crores. The project of Mother and Child Hospitals is to ensure the health of mothers and children in Punjab are very wonderful. The patients coming to Mother and Child Hospital are praying for Imran Khan from the heart. Imran Khan has also inaugurated the Mother and Child Hospital in Mianwali.
Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid further said that mother and child will be provided international level facilities in Mother and Child Hospitals. World Health Organization Country Head Dr. Palitha Mahipala appreciated the efforts of the Punjab government by visiting the Mother and Child Hospital. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid congratulated the Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Professor Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal and his team for providing better treatment facilities to the patients in the Mother and Child Block.
