Governor Kamran Tessori has announced that students under his initiative will now receive online classes from Professor Randall Kroszner, a renowned professor at Harvard University and the University of Chicago. During a meeting with Governor Tessori, Professor Kroszner discussed the launch of this initiative, which will offer IT students access to online classes twice a week.

This development aims to bridge the knowledge gap and provide valuable learning opportunities to students in Sindh, particularly in the field of Information Technology. Professor Kroszner also visited the IT marquee, “Umeed ki Ghanti” (Bell of Hope), and praised the Governor’s initiative to support the needy and underprivileged through various drives, including the ration distribution efforts. He expressed his enthusiasm about teaching these students and contributing to their educational journey. In addition to the online classes, the Sindh Governor shared details of a program designed to subsidize fees for Google certifications for IT students.

This move comes after successful discussions with the Google team in Islamabad, which will allow students who pass the qualifying exams to receive certifications that could open doors to online business opportunities and substantial income potential.

Governor Tessori’s ‘Governor Sindh IT Initiative’ aims to provide young individuals with critical IT skills, enhancing their employability and helping them compete in an increasingly digital job market.
The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to fostering skill development and creating opportunities for the youth of Sindh.
