The lawyers of District Bar Association Hafizabad have unanimously decided to observe complete strike on August 07, Friday to protest against the uncalled for behaviour of two judges of District Courts Hafizabad.
Through a resolution approved by the DBA Hafizabad which was chaired by Amanullah Sandhu President of the DBA, levelled serious allegations against Sheikh Sajid Mehmood Senior Civil Judge and Muhammad Nawaz Bhatti Additional District and Sessions Judge Hafizabad and have called upon the Chief Justice Lahore High Court to order the transfer of both the judges out of Gujranwala division and order inquiry against the judges for their, what the lawyers of DBA alleged, irresponsible and immoral activities besides indulging in corruption.
A poor vendor was shot dead by unidentified bike riders in Jalalpur Bhattian in broad day light today. The motive of the offence could not be ascertained as yet.
According to police source, the deceased Thelewala Said Muhammad Khan, father of ten children, was selling eatables in Mohallah Alampura on his handcart when two unidentified bike riders shot him dead.
The police have shifted the dead body to the morgue and registered a case against the accused, who could not arrested so far.
