PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Friday said that the journey to overthrow the “selected government” has started from today’s public meeting and now the “selected rulers” will be sent packing with the support of public very soon.
PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz was speaking to the party workers and supporters after leaving for Gujranwala public meeting Friday evening. The league leader also offered prayers before leaving. A large number of PML-N leaders and workers were present with her.
According to details, Maryam Nawaz also telephoned her father Nawaz Sharif in London and informed her father about the speech of her meeting. On which Nawaz Sharif, reportedly, added more points to her speech. Maryam Nawaz’s speech included points such as government failure, inflation, and respect the vote slogan.
Maryam Nawaz also addressed the rally by getting out of the car while leaving Jati Umra. She thanked the workers participating in the rally and said, “I salute your spirit.” Come to the battle of law and constitution and join us. Today we are out for the rights of the people and respect for the vote”.
The rally stopped at Shahdara where Maryam Nawaz was welcomed and she also addressed.
Meanwhile, PML-N leader M Zubair told a prvate TV that the PML-N’s narrative hasn’t changed and targeting Imran Khan is part of the strategy. “In a cricket match, you have to take 10 wickets, then you completely end an innings. So the wickets will fall. Imran Khan’s wicket will also fall,” he said. Zubair said that his party will show the public the real faces of the selected rulers, adding that former PM Nawaz Sharif is leaving the hearts of the people and nobody can remove his image from the public hearts.
