Gone are the days when cash and gold ornaments were gifted to guests at a wedding ceremony as nowadays these have been replaced by weapons.
However, one such brazen display of weapons proved costly for a groom in village Domala of Narowal as he had to spend first night of his marriage in jail, it has been reported on Friday.
Police said that a marriage party was given a salute with automatic weapons on arrival by the family members and relatives of a bride.
Not only that, kalasnikov and 9MM pistol were also gifted to him, the videos of which went viral on social media, the force said.—INP
