Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said on Sunday that the Punjab government is actively working for uniform and true development of the province. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that the government is wholeheartedly working for the development of the province as well as public welfare. He said that government believes in uniform development and no area will remain deprive of progress and development as manifesto of PTI government is the equality.
The chief minister said the government will redress the grievances and deprivations of backward areas by bringing them at par with the developed ones. Every city, town and village of Punjab will get benefits of real development.
Meanwhile, on the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, the Cabinet Standing Committee for Finance & Development gave approval for 10 development projects worth Rs12.25 billion. The flyover in Karim Block Allama Iqbal Town will be constructed at a sum of Rs2.20 billion. An amount of Rs350 million has been sanctioned for the procurement of Electro-medical Equipment for the Neurosurgery Department of Mayo Hospital. Similarly, Rs70 million has been approved for construction of 3km Mianwali-Sargodha Road to Wan Bhachran , Rs120 million for construction of Assistant Commissioner’s residence and Tehsil Complex at Kot Chhatta. Moreover, a civil dispensary will be set up at Moza Karoun in Tehsil Koh-e-Sulaiman at a cost of Rs10 million. Rs530 million will be spent for the upgradation of BHU of Kharar Buzdar to Rural Health Center. The construction of Ghail to Lieutenant Arsalan Alam Shaheed Sati House road in Murree will be completed at a cost of Rs30 million. Gulab Devi Hospital underpass on Ferozepur Road will be constructed at a cost of Rs950 million. Whereas, Rs4.5 billion for the construction of Sheranwala flyover and Rs3.80 billion has been approved for the construction of Shahkam Chowk flyover.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has strongly condemned the firing incident in Mach area of Baluchistan. The Chief Minister expressed sorrow and grief over the death of the miners in the firing and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured. The chief minister also extended heartfelt sympathy and condolence to the bereaved families. Usman Buzdar said that he is deeply saddened over the loss of precious human lives in the tragic incident. The Punjab government and people equally share the grief of the affected families and standing beside them in their different times.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar after feeling better during quarantine also took walk in the lawn. Usman Buzdar said that he is more concern about the people rather than his health. I am performing official engagements from home on a regular basis and no government matter has been put on hold due to his quarantine, CM added. He also thanked all those who prayed for his recovery. Usman Buzdar further disclosed that process of medical tests, treatment and dieting is still continue. He will serve the people with new zeal and zest after complete recovery. He also advised to wear mask and observe social distance.
