Visits victim’s residence, assures transfer of case to terrorism court

Governor Punjab Ch Muhammad Sarwar has summoned IG Punjab Police, Chief Secretary Punjab and relevant officers at Governor House on Saturday (today) in Salahudin case. Earlier he visited the house of Salahudin, who allegedly died at the hands of police brutality and met with the family and father Afzal Ahmed at his village Wahandu. Condolences and prayers were made for Salahudin. Governor Punjab Ch Muhammad Sarwar assured family to fulfill their demand of transfer of Salahudin case to terrorism court, investigations from DIG Officer and strict action against the responsible police officers and has.
While addressing the media Governor Punjab Ch Muhammad Sarwar said that we will bring in law reforms to eradicate crimes like police brutality and will ensure every possible step in this regards. Policemen and officers involved in torture case dont deserve any relief, the grip of justice will hold those responsible whoever will commit the crime. PTI was established on the ideology of justice, there is no chance of tolerating injustice.
According to details, on Friday Governor Punjab reached the house of Salahudin along with lawyers of Salahudin, Hassan Niazi and Muhammad Usama, at Wahandu Gujranwala.
