KARACHI – Gold market witnessed single-day drop of Rs600 per tola on Monday amid cut in international market.

Data shared by the Sarafa Association saw a slight drop, reflecting a dip in the global market, and the price settled at Rs272,600. The cost for 10 grams of gold reached Rs233,711.

In the international market, the rate of gold saw decline, falling by $6 to $2,614 per ounce, with a premium of $20.

Bullion experienced notable fluctuations throughout 2024, with the highest recorded price reaching Rs287,900 per tola and the lowest dropping to Rs210,800 per tola.
