Gold prices up by Rs 100 per tola

The price of 24 karat per tola gold witnessed an increase of Rs100 and was sold at Rs126,450 on Friday against its sale at Rs126,350 in the local market the previous day.

The price of 10 gram 24 karat gold also increased by Rs 85 to Rs 108,410 from Rs 108,325 whereas that of 10 gram 22 karat went up to Rs 99,376 from Rs 99,298, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported on Friday.

The price of per tola and ten gram silver remained constant at Rs 1460 and Rs 1251.71 respectively. The price of gold in international market increased by $5 and was traded at US$ 1891 against its sale at US$ 1886, the association reported.—APP
