Gold prices in the international market went down on Tuesday, after touching its highest since February 11 at $1,845.06 a day earlier.
At 1345 hours GMT, gold in the international market was trading at $1,823.90 an ounce after shedding $13.10 an ounce in its value as compared to its closing value on Monday last.
The price of 10 grams yellow metal in the country was recorded at Rs89,200 after shedding Rs700. The price of 10 grams gold was recorded at Rs89,900 on Monday last.
According to a commodity expert, the outlook of gold remains strong over the next week. Gold is expected to trade high, he added.
