The Chairman of Pasban-e-Hurriyat, Uzair Ahmad Ghazali has said that restrictions on the funeral of Syed Ali Gillani and the lawsuits against his family are disgraceful scars on the so-called democratic face of India.

Uzair Ahmad Ghazali in a statement issued in Muzaffarabad on Sunday said that Syed Ali Gilani fought for freedom from India till the last breath of his life.

He said that the people of Kashmir will complete the unfinished mission of their great leader and the historic struggle of Baba-e-Hurriyat will surely succeed.

He said that Syed Ali Gilani will always be remembered as a great leader as he continuously struggled for the freedom and rights of the oppressed and subjugated Kashmiri people in Indian illegally occupied KJammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).—INP
