Germany Unity Day marked with flag hoist

On the directives of Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, Pakistan and Germany’s flags were hoisted at Press Club Chowk (Fawara Chowk) to mark Germany’s Unity Day. The event featured a spectacular fireworks display, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Tessori highlighted the strength of Pakistan-Germany bilateral relations, stating that German investments are contributing to the reduction of poverty and unemployment in the region.

“By celebrating Germany Unity Day in a grand manner, we pay tribute to the strong ties between Pakistan and Germany,” he remarked. Consul General of Germany Dr Rüdiger Lotz praised the presence of esteemed guests to celebrate Unity Day, “we want to further develop the relations between our two countries in the coming years,” said Dr Rüdiger Lotz.

Later, at the Unity Day event held at the German Consulate Karachi, on behalf of Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, advisor to the governor Tariq Mustafa and governor’s press secretary Faisal Farooqui presented floral bouquet to the German Consul General and extended best wishes. The event was attended by Chairman and Editor-In-Chief Pakistan Observer Faisal Zahid Malik, Additional Chief Secretary Home Iqbal Memon and others.
