Gujranwala Electric Supply Company (GEPCO) Chief Executive Mohsin Raza Khan has urged the masses to observe precautions during monsoon rains to avoid electrocution and other fatal incidents.
He advised the public to ensure at least hundred meter distance from high-tension transmission lines and avoid tying sacrificial animals to electricity pylons. He urged the public to avoid dumping remains of sacrificial animals near electricity pylons, supply lines and electric installations as it will hamper timely repair and maintenance. Avoid standing beneath high-voltage transmission lines and transformers or parking vehicles to ward off any fatal incidents.
The GEPCO CEO expressed the resolve to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the consumers during Eid days.
