From Amitabh Bachchan to Malala: Top celebs usher in Ramadan with peace messages

Muslims in Pakistan and across the world are fasting, praying, and doing charity in the holy month of Ramadan.

As masses have taken to social media to share Ramadan wishes, celebrities, politicians, and influencers have also extended wishes and prayers to their followers for the Holy Month.

Pakistani Nobel laureate Malala took to Twitter to give her fans glad tidings of the blessed month. “Ramadan Mubarak…This month reminds us to be generous, giving, and loving to everyone and to think of our sisters and brothers, especially those in difficult situations. I hope we practice its teachings and message throughout the year,” she wrote on Twitter.

Bollywood veteran star Amitabh Bachchan also joined the bandwagon, extending wishes on Gudi Padwa-Ugadi-Chaitra Sukhladi, Ramzan, and Navroz. All around same days, he wrote on social media.

India’s former professional tennis player Sania Mirza also shared snippets from Saudi Arabia while performing Umrah with family.

Bollywood stars Hina Khan and Sana Khan are also in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to spend the best of Ramadan.
