Free shuttle service launched for cattle markets

Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Allah Ditta Warriach has said that shuttle service has been launched to provide free of cost communicational facilities to people for visiting cattle markets established to purchase and sell sacrificial animals on the directions of the Punjab government in the district while ban has been imposed under section 144 to sell and purchase sacrificial animals anywhere in the district instead of fixed places.

He expressed these views while addressing the meeting of District Emergency Board, on Wednesday. ADCG Revenue Umer Farooq Warriach, ADCG Hamid Nasir Goraya, AC Rab Nawaz, CO Health Authority Dr. Rehman Azhar, District Officer Rescue 1122 Ch. Adnan Nawaz and other officers attended the meeting.

He said that all officers of Municipal Committees would remain present on duty on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha for ensuring cleanliness and timely removal of offal of sacrificial animals and added that no negligence and lethargic attitude of officer and officials of MCs would be tolerated in this regards.
