Says People to get medical facilities of cancer, kidney, from empanelled hospitals
Health Minister Punjab Dr. Yasmin Rashid has stated that free medical treatment facilities will be provided under the Ehsaas Tahafuz Program (ETP).
The people of Punjab will be able to get free facilities of cancer, kidney, brain aneurysm, kidney and liver transplant from the empanelled government hospitals of Punjab under the Ehsaas Tahufaz program.
A meeting was held in the Chief Minister’s House under the chairmanship of Health Minister Punjab Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Chairperson Ehsaas Program Dr. Sania Nishtar, in which Special Secretary Department of Specialized Health and Medical Education Mohammad Usman, CEO Punjab Health Initiative Management Company Dr. Ali Razzaq, Hasnat Ahmed, Deputy Secretary to Chief Minister Punjab Kaleem and other officers participated.
Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Dr. Sania Nishtar reviewed in detail the measures to provide more health facilities to the people of Punjab under the Sehat Sahulat Program.
Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that now the people of Punjab should not be worried about the expiry of the money for receiving treatment facility through sehat sahulat Card. Free treatment facilities will be provided under the Ehsaas Tahafuz program.
The people of Punjab will be able to get free facilities of cancer, kidney, brain aneurysm, kidney and liver transplant from the empaneled government hospitals of Punjab under the Ehsaas Tahufaz program.
In the first phase of the Ehsaas Tahufaz program, Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi, In Nishtar Medical University and Hospital Multan and Institute of Child Health Multan, patients will be able to get free treatment facility.
According to the statistics, so far more than 24 lakh 6 thousand people in Punjab have got free treatment facility through sehat sahulat Card.
People have got the facility of free treatment worth more than 53 billion rupees through sehat sahulat card. She further said that 793 public and private hospitals have been empaneled to provide free treatment facilities to the people of Punjab through the sehat sahulat card.
