Fourth T20I: Pakistan and New Zealand to face each other in Lahore today

LAHORE – The 4th T20 international of five-match series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played at Lahore on Thursday (today).

The match will start at 7:30 pm on Thursday.

The series is levelled at 1-1.

The fifth and last match of the series will also be played at the same venue on Saturday.

New Zealand defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in third T20 match in Rawalpindi on Sunday.

Playing first, Pakistan scored 178 runs in stipulated 20 overs for the loss of four wickets.

From Green Shirts, Shadab Khan remained top scorer with 41 runs.

In reply, Kiwis achieved the target in 18.2 overs for the loss of three wickets.

Highest scorer of the match was Mark Chapman who scored 87 runs.

It may be mentioned here that Wicketkeeper batsman Muhammad  Rizwan and Muhammad Irfan Khan have been ruled out from the remaining matches of the T20I series against New Zealand on the medical grounds.

PCB Medical Panel  received Radiology reports of Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Irfan Khan.

After reviewing the reports and in consultation with the Pakistan team management, it has been decided to rest the two players from Thursday’s and Saturday’s T20Is against New Zealand.

The two players will work on their rehabilitation with the PCB Medical Panel at NCA.
