November-15-2022—As many as four alleged terrorist were killed in an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday.
“The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and police killed four alleged terrorists in Dera town area of DI Khan” the officials said
According to Police authorities a joint operation was conducted with CTD in Dera town area of DI Khan on the information about the presence of trouble makers in the area. One terrorist was killed in an exchange of fire with the Police and CTD personnel while the other three terrorists were killed in the explosion during the operation the law enforcers claimed.
The exchange of fire, according to police spokesperson, took place in the muddy area of DI Khan where the miscreants offered resistance that led to shootout between the law enforcers and the trouble makers.
While the Police claimed to have also seized explosives, arms, and ammunition from the possession of the alleged terrorists, it said no word about losses on part of the men in uniform.
