A roof collapse injured four members of the same family here on Wednesday. The incident occurred in the Malipura area of the city, where the roof of a dilapidated house suddenly caved in, burying a couple and their two minor children under the debris.
Rescue teams reached the scene and rescued the victims, who were identified as 32-year-old Imran, his wife, six-year-old daughter Noor, and four-year-old Fareed. They were all taken to Mayo Hospital Lahore, where they are being treated for their injuries.
The cause of the roof collapse is not yet known, but it is believed that the house was in a state of disrepair.
The local authorities have been notified of the incident, and an investigation is underway.
