PERTH – Pakistan bowler Aamer Jamel claimed six-wicket haul on his Test debut as Australia bowled out for 487 on Day 2 of the first Test in Perth on Friday.

Aussies resumed on 346-5 after David Warner’s powerful knock of 164 runs on the first day of the match.

Marsh seemed to complete his fourth Test century but Khurram Shahzad got a breakthrough by removing the former for 90 after lunch.

Jamal ended with splendid 6-111 while Shahzad claimed two wickets for 83

On Day 1, David Warner produced an outstanding 164 on the first day of play of the first Test at Perth Stadium, to give Australia an ideal start to the Benaud-Qadir Trophy. The home side chalked up 346 runs in 84 overs while losing five scalps in the day, which all came courtesy of the Pakistan pace attack. The visitors, who fielded a bowling attack of four pace options, saw each of their fast bowlers return with at least a wicket each.
