FIFA features Arif Lohar’s song to celebrate Messi’s birthday

Renowned Pakistani folk singer Arif Lohar’s track “Aa” has now reached FIFA as it using his song to celebrate star player Lionel Messi’s birthday on social media.

“Aa”  was released in 2023 which touched hearts millions of Pakistanis.

But now it has gained international recognition.

Taking to Instagram, FIFA shared a Reel featuring Messi’s highlights accompanied by Lohar’s song. The video was captioned in Urdu, “Messi ka Jadoo” (Messi’s magic).

Born on June 24, Messi turned 37 this year. The Argentine football legend has won eight Ballon d’Ors. According to India.com, during his 17-year career at Barcelona, Messi secured 10 La Liga titles, 4 Champions League trophies, and 7 Copa del Rey titles.

He holds the record for the most goals in La Liga history with 474 goals, won his first UEFA Champions League in 2009, and surpassed Brazilian legend Pelé’s record by scoring his 644th goal for Barcelona.

In 2022, Messi led Argentina to victory in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
