Chairman Fishermen Cooperative Society Chairman Abdul Barr distributed ration bags among fishermen confined under lockdown in Bhat Island on Monday.
Abdul Bar said Corona virus outbreak has shaken the world and has brought ultimate misery in lives of many.
He said surely FCS supports the Sindh government’s decision to close Fish Harbor as it is for the protection of fishermen and others working at the site, but the FCS will not sit idle and would stand aside its fishermen fraternity in this torrid time.
During his visit to Keamari Jetty, Chairman Abdul Bar addressing the fishermen said the deadly Covid-19 disease has upset the world and also Pakistan.
“The government is forced to tighten lockdowns cities and populations due to the ever-increasing cases of the Corona virus.” Abdul Bar the Government of Sindh is also working hard to protect its citizens and especially fishermen from this deadly disease.
He said that in this moment of hardship Abdul Barhas not sat in his house for a single day. “Rather, your chairman is trying to end the ban on your employment by the federal government.
I will be the voice of fishermen on every platform to open up your employment. And at all costs I will continue my efforts to get our fishermen out of this crisis.”
