The Tax Education Section of FBR conducted a training session at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) which was attended by over one hundred faculty members.
Led by Secretary Tax Education, Mr. Muhammad AlamZeib Khan, the FBR team included Inland Revenue Second Secretary Angel David, Coordinator Zia Farooqui and Income Tax Inspector Muhammad Salman.
Upon their arrival at the university, the team was warmly welcomed by Additional Director/In-charge of Professional Training, Ms. Nausheen Syed.
The training took place in the auditorium of Fatima Al-Zahra Block at Female Campus, where Vice President (Administration and Finance) of the university, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, was also in attendance.
In his opening remarks, Inland Revenue Second Secretary Angel David emphasized the critical importance of tax return filing, stating that it is essential for the country’s development and prosperity.
During the session, the FBR team provided a detailed walkthrough of the tax return filing process.
The faculty members actively participated, posing several questions, all of which were addressed comprehensively by the team. This training is part of the ongoing initiatives by the Tax Education Section of FBR, which regularly conducts training sessions and seminars on tax submission and return filing in various educational institutions across the country.—PR
