A beautiful and fascinating Football Ground has been established at Gwadar. According to a Gwadar Pro’s report on Saturday, following an extraordinary response to Gwadar Cricket Stadium, the beauty of Gwadar Football Ground has taken social media by storm.
Netizens are sharing beautiful pictures of Gwa-dar Football Ground and comparing the lush green ground with world’s different soccer venues.
The football ground is located at the foot of Koh-e-Batil, one of the famous hills in the south of Gwadar city at an altitude of 470 feet. “After the huge response to the Gwadar Cricket Stadium, another milestone is the wonderful Gwa-dar Football Ground on the same line,” Mehak Sha-hid, the first female sports journalist from Balochis-tan wrote on her Twitter.
The Gwadar Football Ground is not new. It has been around for decades. However, after observing the extraordinary response to the Gwadar Cricket Ground, the city administration started to rehabili-tate the soccer ground.
The grass, the installation of floodlights, and the building of the pavilion cost an estimated amount of Rs 6 million. The ground is expected to be inaugu-rated in near future.—INP
