Pakistani mobile network giant Jazz has named Farrukh H Khan as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and CEO of Micro-Finance Holdings (MFH).
Jazz chief expressed his excitement about the appointment of Khan who resigned from Pakistan Stock Exchange. The new financial officer of Jazz holds extensive expertise and leadership in capital markets.
It has been learnt that the outgoing CFO will remain with Jazz until the end of the year, and will help smooth transition and maintain momentum in ongoing initiatives.
Farrukh H Khan is coming to Jazz with decades of experience from major financial institutions. His previous roles include CEO of Acumen Fund, co-founder and CEO of BMA Capital Management, and CFO at American Express. His expertise in mergers and public offerings will significantly enhance Jazz’s financial strategy and innovation.
After getting new task, Farrukh Khan called it a transformative time, saying the team has built remarkable businesses, and that he is looking to contribute to ambitious vision to evolve into a ServiceCo.
