Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar organized a dignified farewell ceremony at the Central Police Office on the retirement of AIG Welfare Naveed Ajmal, in which IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, senior officers paid tributes to their extra ordinary services of AIG welfare Naveed Ajmal.
AIG Welfare Naveed Ajmal’s mother, wife and children spe-cially attended the event. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Naveed Ajmal’s services for the welfare of police martyrs’ families will always be remembered, Naveed Ajmal’s continuous follow-up resolved the long-standing problems of martyrs’ families, jobs and plots were arranged, IG Punjab. Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that under the supervision of AIG Welfare Naveed Ajmal, the most important projects for the welfare of police martyrs, employees’ children and their families have been completed. Children’s treatment and scholarships were started, similarly, the best facilities for the treatment of police employees and their families suffering from liver and kidney disorders were commenced. Agreements were inked with reputed educational institutes for education of children of police employees.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar while paying tribute to Naveed Ajmal said that Naveed Ajmal is a person with a soft heart who is retiring from the job after completing his service with dignity, AIG Welfare Naveed Ajmal thanked all IG Punjan Dr. Usman Anwar and other officers for the encouragement. He said that I am happy that in every challenge of professional life, I was able to remain successful with the mercy of Allah, prayers of mother, guidance of seniors, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and other officers presented commemorative souvenirs, flowers and gifts to AIG Welfare. SP Naveed Ajmal joined the police department in 1982, held key positions in 42 years of service, Naveed Ajmal did LLB and Masters during his service, he was chosen to serve in United Nations Peacekeeping mission for four times in his ca-reer.
Additional IG Punjab, Additional IG Training, Additional IG IAB, Additional IG Operations, DIG Headquarters, DIG Logistics, DIG Welfare, Senior officers of Central Police Office including DIG Establishment-1, DIG Establishment-2 were also present in the retirement ceremony .
