Authorities at Pak Afghan border Torkham have seized fake US dollars, a resident of Ningahar wanted to smuggle 19000( Ninteen thousand) fake American dollars to Afghanistan.
A police official in Torkham told the media on Sunday. Mussarat Hussain Shinwari, assistant sub-inspector while sharing the details, said that a resident of Ningahar was crossing via Torkham, when the personnel searched his luggage, recovered fake American dollars.
The smuggler has been sent to Landikotal sub-jail for further investigation. Police official said. It is worth to mention here that a few days before, the authorites at Torkham had also recovered 0.3 million Afghan currency from a man possession.
The police officials at Torkham have said that they have tighten checkup of those passengers and their luggage who were crossing via Torkham to stop the smuggling of illegal goods and narcotics.
