Inventing fake terrorist acts on Indian soil by India itself and putting the blame on Pakistan is not something new and has a history of its own.

In order to malign and defame Pakistan, India has been conducting fake terrorist attacks in IIOJK, Punjab and elsewhere. However, there has been disclosure of truth later on by internal sources of India.

Few years back, Times of India reported that a former Under Security of Indian Home Ministry R V S Mani, has revealed in the court that, “the Indian government, and not Pakistan, was behind the parliament attack (13/12, 2001) and Mumbai attack (26/11, 2008) in India.

“The officer of home ministry was categorical in his revelation that this was orchestrated by India to formulate and strengthened the counter-terrorism laws in India and to defame Pakistan, primarily ISI, blaming Lashkar-e-Taiba and also to fulfill a number of other sinister aims.

Complete Indian drama involved 1000 LEA personnel’s more than 60 hours to pacify only 10 gunmen.

This episode killed 167 innocent people, including Hemant Karkare; in-charge of Anti-terror Squad.

Immediately after this attack, Indian Government and media blamed Pakistan. Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh issued a reckless statement that, “roots of these attacks are in a neighboring country”.

While rejecting the Indian allegations, Pakistan condemned these attacks and offered its help in the investigation.

Following the attacks, India did try to mobilize its armed forces especially it’s Air Force, but vigilance and quick response of PAF put IAF on defensive.

It is worth mentioning that, in October 2008, Mr. Hemant Karkare, Head of Anti-terrorist Squad, Maharashtra, was investigating the terrorist acts of a serving Indian Army officer; Lt Col Prashad Srikant Purohit who was arrested on the charges of attack on Malegaon Mosque bomb blast.

During investigations, it was revealed that the officer along with a number of his accomplices was also involved in the attacks on Samjota Express 2007, besides a number other terrorist attacks. Mr. Hemant Karkare was about to reveal this terrorist network, once mysterious Mumbai attacks took place and he was first one to be killed.

Earlier, Indian media broke the news that Lt Col Purohit had a huge network of Hindu terrorists spread in the length and breadth of Indian Army and otherwise.

On the home front, ousted PM Nawaz Sharif for his vested interests stated that, “Militant organizations are active.

Call them non-state actors, should we allow them to cross the border and kill 150 people in Mumbai? Explain it to me.

The statement was received wide coverage in national and international media. Soon after the publication of Nawaz’s interview, the Indian media blew up his remarks, terming it an ‘admission’ on part of the former Prime Minister about Pakistan’s involvement in the Mumbai attacks.

Following needs to be highlighted during the media campaign prior to 26 Nov this year:-
It is very significant that the name of the accused “Ajmal Kassab” was suspicious and his accomplices were the creation of RAW.

All the characters of the Mumbai attack were stage-managed and so were the court proceedings that went on for years before Kasab’s final execution.

Pakistani LEAs were not allowed to interrogate Kasab and he was sentenced to death. His hanging was carried out secretly in jail and his body, like the bodies of the other dead terrorists, was buried at a secret place.

This shows the Indian preplanned drama to hide any clue of the case. Moreover, haste in hanging Kasab indicates that India used him as a tool against Pakistan. Perhaps India was afraid that Kasab may expose its drama.

Indian high officials themselves admitted that Kasab was arrested before 2006 from Kathmandu by the Indian agency RAW with the help of Nepalese forces.

o According to Times of India published on 18 Nov 2018, as per the records at Bidhoona Tehsil in UP’s Auraiya District, Ajmal Kasab was issued domicile from the said District.

Taking serious note of the incident, the district authorities after preliminary investigation, cancelled the domicile certificate and suspended the concerned revenue officer before ordering probe in this regard.

Hemant Karkare, the Chief of the Mumbai Anti-terrorist Squad, who was also killed on the same day by the Indian establishment, was investigating state sponsored terrorism activities.

His revelations would have been a cause of great embarrassment for India; hence he became the victim of RAW.

Davidsson’s book titled “The Betrayal of India: Revisiting the 26/11 Evidence” has also verified that the Mumbai attack was a false flag by Indian, U.S., and Israeli intelligence nexus to malign Pakistan, and needs to be probed.

For this reason, the Pakistani media need to discuss this book during special programmes organized on 26 Nov, which has badly exposed Indian sinister designs against Pakistan.

In a nutshell, 26/11 or Mumbai Attacks in 2008 was a stage managed drama to put Pakistan onto the mat and label it out as the Epicenter of Terror in South Asia, while India with the help of her Western friends got away with it, truth could not remained hidden for indefinite period.

It is of particular attention that on July 19, 2013, the Indian former home ministry and ex-investigating officer Satish Verma disclosed that terror attacks in Mumbai in November 26, 2008 and assault on Indian Parliament in January 12, 2001 were carried out by the Indian government to strengthen anti-terrorism laws.

It has clearly proved that Indian secret agencies; particularly RAW arranged coordinated terror attacks in Mumbai and orchestrated that drama only to defame Pakistan in the world, but also to fulfill a number of other sinister aims.

Nevertheless, all these terror attacks were planned by Indian security agencies to distort image of Pakistan and its primary intelligence agency, ISI, linking it with the banned group Lashkar-e-Taiba.

In these terms, coordinated terror assaults of November 26, 2008 in Mumbai were part of the same Indian scheme.

As a responsible country, Pakistan remained committed to providing all cooperation to Indian in terms of accelerating the Mumbai attack trial and bringing all perpetrators to justice, but India never adopted a serious attitude.

The non-cooperative attitude of the Indian government has been the biggest obstacle in the Mumbai terror attacks trial for reaching at a conclusion.

Investigation carried out by CIA, FBI and Indian LEA’s found no authentic or glaring evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in the attacks.

Likewise, aggregations leveled against Hafiz Saeed, could also not be proved, not any links with proscribed terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba could be established.

Hafiz Saeed has already approached ICJ through his private lawyer to declare him innocent against the demands of the US, Israel and India who asked for his arrest and trail.

Pakistan’s actions and successes in fight against terrorism are unmatchable as it managed its internal instability in a very effective manner. Similarly, Pakistan also rejects and condemns acts of terrorism anywhere in the world including India.

Last but not the least, a word of advice for India is that, world is totally aware of such phony and fake acts. India needs to reconcile and resolve the issues, rather continuing with this undesirable trend of phony attacks.

Reconciliation would place India at a higher pedestal at regional and international level; otherwise world would continue viewing Indian acts as; fake and anti-Pakistan.
