Reviews facilities, security arrangements at Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Darbar

Acting Provincial Minister Awqaf, Religious Affairs, Ushar and Zakat Barrister Syed Azfar Ali Nasir has emphasized that everyone has to play their role for the stability of Pakistan and the integrity of the country.

He said that the shrines of Sufia have been a source of blessings and guidance for people for centuries. The law enforcement agencies are playing an active role for the establishment of law and order; in this regard the entire nation has to cooperate with the agencies. He was addressing the “Stability of Pakistan Conference” as a special guest at the shrine of the great spiritual figure Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Masood Ganj Shakar. On this occasion, Secretary Awqaf and Religious Affairs Syed Tahir Raza Bukhari, Zonal Administrator Awqaf Gohar Mustafa and other eminent mushaikhs and scholars were also present. The caretaker provincial minister paid visit to mazar Baba Farid, laid wreaths and offered a special prayer for the development and prosperity of the country.

He visited various parts of the Darbar and reviewed the facilities and security arrangements made for the pilgrims and directed that fool-proof security should be ensured for the pilgrims at the Baba Farid Darbar. Ali Nasir, in his speech at the “Stability of Pakistan Conference”, paid rich tribute to Baba and said that he had served Islam and humanity throughout his life. “Even today his shrine is sharing blessings among the masses”, observed the minister.

He said it was a matter of fortune for him to attend the shrine of the great spiritual personality of the subcontinent. He said that caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi has directed provision of all possible facilities for the pilgrims.

Speaking on this occasion, Secretary Awqaf Punjab Syed Tahir Raza Bukhari said that Pakistan needs stability and national harmony more than ever before. He pledged that all possible facilities will be provided by the Awqaf Department for the pilgrims at Darbar Sharif.
