Nur International University Lahore organized an event for Storytelling titled as “English Storytelling Competition”for students.
The event was organized by Nur English Language Center (NELC), headed by Ms. Kinza Gull along with the students. The purpose of this event was to enhance their confidence as well as polish their communication skills.

We tell ourselves stories about the amazing places we will see and exciting things we will do as we plan our vacations. We tell ourselves stories about how people treat us and how we treat them. Stories also help us to solve problems by providing opportunities to try out different actions that might lead to different outcomes.Ms. Komal Faisal, a renowned psychologist and Mr. Moiz Shaukat, the Youngest Motivational Speaker Paki-stan also joined the event as Guest Speakers. They appreciated the efforts of NIU students.
Total 14 students participated in the competition and expressed their stories based on five genres. The winners were awarded with cash prizes. First prize was given to Mahnoor Khawaja, second prize to Aneeqa Mahmood and third prize went to Reem Akhtar. The event ended with great appreciation to NIU students and faculty members.
