When it comes to dominating social media platforms, Tesla CEO and meme lord, Elon Musk, is arguably the undisputed king. The world’s richest man, on Thursday, announced that he offered to buy the microblogging site, Twitter, for $43 billion, saying the social media company “needs to be transformed as a private company.”

The news spread like a wildfire, as it should be considering the huge fan-following of Elon Musk, who currently enjoys around 82 million followers on Twitter alone, and it garnered mixed responses from the netizens.

Conservatives rejoiced at the news calling it the best decision. While libertarian left did not seem to enjoy it much and considered options of leaving the platform if it ever happened.

With #ElonMusk currently trending on Twitter, we picked out some of the best ones.
