Election Act amended ordinance is protection of forged govt of Form-47

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Saif stated that Election Act amended ordinance was issued for protection of forged incumbent government formed on Form-47.

He responded to the new development in Election Act, asserting these amendments were meant to delay justice and abolish transparency and said “We reject this Black Law ordinance altogether. ”

He also announced that KP Assembly has approved the resolution against ordinance. Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) gets power to appoint serving as well as retired judges in the election tribunal, according to new amended ordinance of Election Act.—INP
