Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi has paid tributes to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for again restoring status of mosque on Hagia Sophia Museum and said that it is an audacious decision of Recep Tayyip Erdogan to restore great memorial mosque of 15th century, this decision has sent a wave of happiness not only among Turk people but also entire Muslim Ummah.
He said in a statement issued on Saturday that this decision of Recep Tayyip Erdogan has revived the memory of the Ottoman Caliphate era.
Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Parvez Elahii said that Hagia Sophia Mosque is the cultural heritage of Muslims of the whole world, this mosque constructed in 1453 during the era of Hazrat Sultan Fateh which was made a museum in 1935.
